Little Angels - CD of Essential First Aid for Babies and Children is the flagship product which guides you step-by-step through more than 90 childhood accidents and illnesses and is ideal for use by Parents, Grandparents, Child Minders, Nannies, Babysitters, Play Groups, Teachers, Shops and Play Centres.

They also provide quality HSE approved first aid training and specialise in Emergency First Aid Training for Child Carers.

Baby Gifts

Gift-wrapped outfits from Coco, Emile et Rose and D'Arcy Brown, and Mayoral baby sets come in lovely organza gift-bags. Popular gifts for little ones include Merry Berries strawberry-shaped hats in 100% cotton, in a variety of colours and patterns and suitable from birth to toddling. My First Teddy by Gund is a great birth gift, and other toys in the range include a larger, cuddly teddy with cream, blue or pink ribbon collar. The Gund Flopadoodle range is suitable for older babies (although safe from birth) and young children love them as they're easy to carry around and fun to play with. There is a monkey, dog or rabbit to choose from, all cute. Other new baby gifts include blankets by m.ma.me, and a set of nightdress, hat and double-thickness blanket, all in 100% cotton by D'Arcy Brown - available in blue or pink. This season we also have the exclusive Peter Rabbit by Floriane babywear range for boys, including adorable, baby blue cardigan, embroidered tops and trousers, and a fabulous baby or toddler 3-in-1 coat. There is also a selection of photo albums, for boys and girls, suitable as birth, christening or first birthday gifts.

3 Pommes / Trois Pommes

3 Pommes is (not surprisingly!) a French label, and is proving to be one of our most popular brands, combining great style with excellent value for money.
3 Pommes Spring/Summer 2006 for girls aged 6 months to 3 years: Mini Brousse: for parents who like to add a little French style to their little girls' wardrobe, the Mini Brousse range mixes blackcurrant pink with a floral print on pistachio green, with long pants, blouses or over-shirts, a floral printed t-shirt and a pretty, green top with crocheted flower details.
3 Pommes Blue Summer story comprises pale pinks and blues, with stylised floral printed t-shirts, both long and short-sleeved, to be teamed with a sweet, pale pink skirt or blue, wide-legged pants with tie belt. There's also a gorgeous little coat-dress, again in pale pink, with sleeves that can be worn short or long. There's also a useful summer shower-resistance coat, with matching floppy rain-hat, in pale pink with ribbed details.

3 Pommes Spring/Summer 2006 for girls aged 4 years to 12 years:
The 3 Pommes Reflet Nature range is based on a subtle pale pink theme, including a long, floaty crinkle skirt, with a pink, printed t-shirt to match, plus pink linen-mix jacket and matching straight skirt, with zip details, to be teamed with a pretty, printed white t-shirt. There's also a gorgeous 2-piece top, comprising long-sleeved white voile blouse with sparkles, over simple, white vest top, that can be worn separately. And of course a lovely linen-mix sun-dress, in pale pink, with a white fine overlay. A summer jacket is also available, in the Jungle story, in blackcurrant pink, with ribbed details, shower-resistant with concealed hood.

3 Pommes Spring/Summer 2006 for boys aged 6 months to 3 years:
The 3 Pommes Sable Blanc story comprises t-shirts, shorts and shirts in off-white and beige khaki, in a soft, linen-mix fabric for comfort and style. This colour-way is mirrored in the 3 Pommes www.3p.com theme, that includes long and cropped trousers, long bermudas, plus matching overshirt-cum-jacket in beige khaki, and off-white/ecru linen-mix shirt and jersey, embroidered t-shirt. Great for occasions where smart-casual is the order of the day, ideal for less formal weddings, garden parties and other special occasions.

We still have some stock remaining from last winter: Starting at age one month and up to 3 years, the baby and toddler range includes several sets such as dress, top and tights plus tops and trousers. There are also separates, including leggings, smart trousers, soft hooded jackets, jumpers, cardigans and a gorgeous coat. There are several themes in the baby range, including for baby and toddler girls 'Mon ange', 'Blanc d'Ivoire', 'Douceur d'hiver', 'Petit Bonheur' and 'Fairyland', and for baby boys 'Brin d'Amour', 'Petit Loup', 'Koala Calin', 'Tribu Polaire' and 'Pet't Baroudeur'. For animal lovers, there are two themes in the 3 Pommes (Three Apples) baby and toddler range that will appeal. Anyone with links to Australia will love the Koala Calin range, which comprises cotton and fleece outfits such as a dungaree set, with chocolate brown dungarees, red cotton lined, and red long-sleeved tshirt, with a koala design on the dungarees. There's also trouser and sweater sets, again with Koalas, and a 3 piece set including trousers, sweater and gilet. There are also accessories such as matching socks and a hat & bootee set. 'Petit Loup' has a wolf cub theme and again comprises outfits in navy and a jolly yellow, including dungaree sets, tshirts and trousers, and also a separate hoodie jacket, with wolf cub motif. The 'Tribu Polaire' theme is a group of bear cubs adorning cosy sweaters and fleece jackets, matching t-shirts and coordinating cord trousers. All the fabrics used are very soft to the touch and comfy to wear. For the bigger girls, the 3 Pommes (Trois Pommes) Autumn Winter 2005 collection has jeans, pinafore dresses, gypsy skirts and blouses in denim trimmed with vintage-style prints, a stunning tie-front cardigan, a chocolate brown padded gilet (bodywarmer), plus a cord skirt, zip-up cardigan, leggings, tops, and lots more. The themes include 'Zippy Girl', 'Active Girl' and 'Fairyland'. For bigger boys, the 3 Pommes (Trois Pommes) Autumn Winter 2005 collection includes great value fleeces, jeans, cords, check shirts, T-shirts, sweatshirts and trouser and top sets. Abella

Abella is a British label famous for its traditional smocked dress sets as well as fashion for girls, and is well-known for its party dresses.
Abella's Spring/Summer 2006 range for baby girls includes 2 ranges:
A sweet range of delicate Abella dresses in pale pink or white, some with their own boleros, available for baby girls from birth to 23 months. Suitable for christenings and special occasions, but why not wear Abella every day? There's also a candy-stripe 2-piece outfit of shorts and top, in either pinks or lemons & limes. Very summery! Little boys are catered for with a range of Abella linen-look outfits, in white with subtle beige or blue embroidered giraffes, and matching hats, plus 3 piece sets: trousers and shirt with knitted tank-top, or trousers, t-shirt and jacket, both in beige or sky blue, with white shirts or t-shirt. Suitable for special occasions such as christenings, weddings or family parties, but Abella's comfy for every day too. Abella's Spring/Summer for bigger girls from age 2 to 8 years, includes gorgeous crinkle cotton dresses in pinks, pink and white, and aqua and white, plus t-shirt and skirt sets in pink or aqua, with swirly skirts and soft, jersey t-shirts with appliqué ¦lowers on the front. Some remaining party frocks from Autumn/Winter 2005/6 are in a cream and pink, with long-sleeves, and cosy but dressy needle-cord teamed with velvety trimmings. There is one fabulous faux-fur teddy coat left, in cream with pink spots. There is also a reversible Abella poncho, a short style in one size suitable from age 2+ to 5/6, which has a pink fluffy side and a pink shower-proof side, both with front pocket, and a pair of pom-poms and hood. There is also a great range of accessories, including winter hats, gloves and mittens, for both boys and girls. For young boys, there is a traditional style faux-sheepskin hat which covers the ears, in navy or brown. Very cosy!

Alphabet

We have some stock remaining from last Autumn/Winter and a great range on order for Autumn/Winter 2006/2007 - watch this space!

Alphabet is another good value label from France and in 2005/6 had some lovely cord peachy-pink pinafore dresses and trousers, trimmed with vintage-inspired fabric, and coordinating tops. There's also a lovely denim skirt, pinafore dress and jeans story, with blue floral trim and matching blouse, again in a vintage floral print with pretty bronze-effect buttons with glass, jewel-effect centre. These ranges cater for 4-year-olds to age 12. There are also some limited styles in the boys range, including jeans and sweaters.

Christening wear

Cotswold Kids is renowned in North Oxfordshire and West Oxfordshire for christening and baptism wear, with customers travelling from other counties (Northamptonshire, Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Gloucestershire, and recently Warwickshire, Hampshire and Avon) for the choice and customer service, at the best possible prices. The ranges include Little Darlings, Collins and Hall and Sarah Louise, and it is also possible to order Pretty Originals too. If the style or size you need is not in stock we can usually arrange delivery in just a few working days. All ranges provide christening gowns, christening rompers, christening dresses, christening bloomer sets, christening shawls, christening bibs, christening shoes and other accessories; other special occasion outfits are also available in these ranges, and some customers often choose a traditional or special occasion dress from the Sarah Louise or Abella fashion ranges as an alternative to the traditional gown or christening outfit. There are some unisex christening gowns available to enable the family to purchase a single heirloom gown that will suit boys and girls, and be passed down through the generations. All outfits are supplied with plenty of acid-free tissue for long-term storage. Heirloom gowns and other christening or baptism outfits are usually made of silk, and we can also recommend a specialist dry-cleaning company to take care of your special outfit.

Christmas Outfits

We usually have a good range of outfits suitable for Christmas, for example: Outfits in lovely rich reds, creams and pinks, with rich fabrics including velvets, soft cord, velour and satin. Including for girls, ranges from D'Arcy Brown, Sarah Louise, Mayoral, Abella, Lily Rio, Ruth Lednik, SULK, Floriane and Little Darlings. The Darcy Brown range includes red velvets, as does Sarah Louise. For boys, there are lovely cord trousers, smart check shirts and zip-up chunky cardigans, from 3 Pommes, Sting, Babar and Ruth Lednik, plus smart trousers, shirts, tank-tops and waistcoats from Darcy Brown. Even Quiksilver have a couple of smart shirts this season, albeit with inset sleeves, for a trendier look - from 2y-14y.

Coco is another British label with generously sized clothes, which means your sturdy 1-year-old can fit into 12-18 months sized clothes and not have to buy age 2+ like you would have to with French labels such as Petit Bateau, for example.

As well as lovely velour rompers from prem sizes up, which come in their own, beautiful gift-box or bag, there are stylish outfits for babies and toddlers up to 24 months. These include a lovely winter-white cord 3-piece outfit, comprising trousers, top and gilet, and a navy cord and sky blue soft cotton range, incorporating rompers, trousers and top sets, 3 piece gilet, trousers and tshirt sets, and a hooded jacket.

Collins & Hall Christening and Occasion Wear

Collins and Hall has a beautiful range of gowns and christening outfits, providing a choice of ornate, traditional heirloom gowns to those giving a more contemporary look. Catering for babies from 3 months-24 months, many outfits are also suitable for other special occasions, such as weddings, naming ceremonies and parties. There are some velvety, velour outfits particularly suitable for the winter months, for both boys and girls. There's a good range of accessories, including footwear and bibs. Some items are available in larger sizes, including a classic girls' Bolero top in ivory cotton with pretty floral trim for up to 6 years of age. Collins and Hall have a particularly popular range of Christening shoes, also suitable for special occasions. I often sell Collins and Hall shoes with outfits of other makes. The boys shoes include linen loafers in white, ivory or pale blue, silk pumps in ivory or pale blue, a velvet unisex bootee, supplied with laces and ribbons for either boys or girls. For girls, there's the very popular ivory silk pearl-drop lace shoe (matching socks are available), and a linen shoe in white. A plain, ivory boys sock is also available. All shoes are pre-walkers sized from 0-4, and have soft-soles, so are not suitable for toddlers unless worn indoors on carpeted areas or where it's not likely that they will slip. Collins & Hall also have a great selection of bibs and shawls. There's a unisex shawl in ivory, and a pretty embroidered one too. Bibs include plain ivory silk, an embroidered ivory silk bib and plain ivory or white linen bibs, which although are similarly priced to the silks, can be washed rather than dry-cleaned.

Dani

Dani is a sister label to Sarah Louise, providing another look from 6 months to 8 years, and last autumn/winter we had the boy's Monkey Business range, including dungarees, trousers, checked shirt, long-sleeved T-shirt and gilet / body-warmer, plus some good basic unisex polo-neck sweaters in red, white, cream, raspberry and mustard yellow.

Edward Sinclair

British designed slogan wear from Edward Sinclair, comprising slogan t-shirts and sweatshirts for all ages, including 'Happiness is a horse and a rich daddy', 'I didn't ask to be a princess, but if the crown fits' and 'Don't bother me now, I'm having a tantrum' and more. Other tshirts include a construction theme with lots of tractors and diggers, dinosaurs, bugs and princess themes. There are adorable slogan sleep-suits, also by Edward Sinclair, including cute messages such as 'Does my bum look big in this?', 'Party, my crib, 3am' and 'I'll have a bottle of the house white', plus baby slogan t-shirts 'Think I'm cute? See my mummy!' and 'Think I'm bad? See my daddy!' plus 'Gorgeous Baby' under a GB sign. The newest design "Been inside for 9 months; property of HMP (hysterically mad parents) comes in white in neutral coloured letters and suitable for boys and girls, perfect for advance purchase before the little bundle arrives.

Floriane

Floriane Girls is one of our top-end labels, offering stylish, high quality fashion with sophistication. Remaining stock from last winter includes a lovely Chanel-inspired pink checked skirt, very dressy and suitable for any occasion; there is also a lovely brown cord skirt, with lots of fabric for a more casual look. Both would look great with boots! Tops to match both include a dressy pale pink long-sleeved tshirt with subtle sequined bows, and two horse-riding themed long-sleeved tshirts, both screen-printed, one with girl dressed in riding gear and the other an arty print of girl and dressage horse. There's also a gorgeous special occasion, long, pale pink frilled skirt to team with one of the pretty, matching tshirts or sweaters. All absolutely stunning.

the same stable as SULK and Little Darlings, Hamilton is a new range for boys, providing smart-casual fashion and traditional styling, with a rowing, hockey or polo theme. Outfits are provided as sets, for example shirt and trousers, polo and shorts, shirt and Bermudas. Colours are based on blues and beiges. Hamilton sizing is generous and waistbands are usually adjustable. The above being for boys aged 4-10 years, babies and toddlers are also catered for with a range of dungaree sets, also in navy and beige.

The themed styles in Summer 2006 include Cambridge, Kings, Oxford and Trinity, with plain, single-coloured shorts, dungarees, trousers or Bermudas, and either checked or plain long-sleeved or short-sleeved shirts or a polo shirt.

Lego Wear

Lego Wear is great quality and composed of comfy, easy to wear fabrics. Waist-bands often have adjustable fixings, or drawstrings, to enable them to fit children of different builds, from the very slim to sturdier build. Outerwear tends to include reflective patches of 3M fabric, for better visibility in low light.

Lego Wear for boys includes check shirts and light summer trousers and beige and navy, plus airline themed separates and anorak/summer jacket. Lego Wear for boys also includes 'find the treasure' pirate-themed printed shorts and t-shirts. Dragon t-shirts available in various colours too.

Lego Duplo for girls from 12months to 4 years includes embroidered denim skirts and jeans, and a short-sleeved dress, plus tops in butterfly design and a denim jacket. Lego Duplo for girls also includes a lovely floral pink and yellow jacket and gilet.

Lego Clikits for girls comes in vibrant, fuschia pinks, including sweat pants and zip-up top, other pink fashion trousers and a host of matching tops. There's a great summer, shower-resistant jacket and also a gilet, in a retro-print fuschia and lilac fabric, with circles and hearts. All hoods are removable and can be concealed in the collar.

Lego Bionicle for boys includes Rahaga and Toa Hordika Nokama, and comprises jeans, Bermudas, a denim jacket and various t-shirts, including a heavier-weight long-sleeved top. There's also a blue, fleece jacket and a two-tone blue shower-resistant jacket.

Lily Rio

Lily Rio is a spin-off label from the same designers as Little Darlings. Lily Rio is a much more affordable fashion range, and is providing very popular. There are a couple of Dainty Denim jackets left, with pink velour hooded lining, that can be worn separately.

Lily Rio is lovely for any occasion, and affordable enough to be worn every day.

For Spring/Summer 2006 we have the Spotty House range, include pinks and lemons, with A-line dresses, 2-piece sets: top and skirt, tunic and cropped trousers, top and cropped trousers. All with the sweet, Spotty House raggedy-edged appliqué ¤esigns around the hem. There's also a pink cardigan to match all styles, in a simple but pretty shape with single button, bolero-style fastening.

Little Darlings christening and special occasion range

The Little Darlings christening range provides a wide choice of traditional christening gowns, christening rompers and christening dress or bloomer sets plus many styles with a more contemporary feel. There are also winter velvet dresses, suits and capes, for christenings or other special occasions such as weddings. Some outfits are available in sizes up to 4 years, although christening gowns tend to be limited to babies under 12 months. If you would like a gown for the main christening service but worry about the party afterwards and think you'll need another outfit, there is one girl's style that has a removable skirt, which leaves a pretty dress with the same look in one outfit. Little Darlings have recently increased their range of christening gowns, and special occasion outfits and party dresses.

For boys in particular, the linen-mix range is proving ever popular, with white romper and tank-top, plus 4-piece suit in navy and white, or ivory and white, comprising trousers, shirt, waistcoat and bow-tie, and the outfit looks equally good with or without the bow-tie, to suit your own preference.

There is a girl's wrap-over cardigan that is particularly good with simply-styled dresses, for christenings and special occasions. And there is a new, beautiful silk dress for girls up to 12 years of age, available in ivory or pink, and suitable as christening, 1st communion, bridesmaid and flower-girl dresses, or the ultimate party dress.

Little Darlings fashion range for girls

Last autumn-winter 2005/6 was our first season with Little Darlings fashion.

Little Darlings was founded by Paula Finnerty and Julian Carter in 1987. Paula is now recognised as being "one of the most influential of UK childrenswear designers". Aged just 18 she won the Prince of Wales award for design, and from this the business quickly flourished.

At 19 Paula was commissioned to create outfits for the British royals William and Harry and later, an assignment to design a new wardrobe for the Crown Prince of Thailand's daughter led her to her being flown to the Royal Palace in Thailand.

Many personalities including Jamie and Jools Oliver, Carol Smiley and Lawrence Llewellyn-Bowen all choose Little Darlings for their kids.

Little Darlings is now renowned for its stylish collections of girls clothing and christening wear, which are sold worldwide. Little Darlings success is undoubtedly attributable to its uncompromising dedication to creative design, quality production and customer service.

In Winter 2005/6 we had the Little Darlings 'Paris' collection, including the Little Darlings Paris dress set, Little Darlings Paris pinafore, Little Darlings Paris trousers, Little Darlings Paris skirt and Little Darlings Paris sweaters, plus the fabulous Little Darlings Paris faux-sheepskin gilet (waistcoat or body-warmer) and Little Darlings Paris faux-sheepskin coat.

For Spring/Summer 2006 we have the Pink Roses story by Little Darlings for Girls. Pink Roses is a truly stunning range, and includes an A-line dress, tiered skirt, ruched top, floaty top and flared trousers. There's also a matching bolero-style cardigan. The Pink Roses fabric is a soft pink cotton, with 3D scrolled fabric roses and swirls, plus sparkly details. Very special.

MDP

Autumn/Winter 2005/6 fashion for girls from age 8 to age 14.

MDP (Mot de Passe is from Alphabet, but for bigger kids) is from age 8 through to 14, and has lots of black and red this season, with some sixties-inspired tshirts with retro-print designs, zips and embroidery. Very reasonably priced, there are also black cord skirts and trousers, red combat trousers and black sweat-pants. There's also a red and black knitted zip-up cardi, plus a sweatshirt style zip-up top, to match the sweat-pants, providing a very styling jogging suit, smart enough for day wear.

Mayoral

Mayoral is a Spanish label that is now well-established as one of the most popular ranges in independent children's shops in the UK. Although its older girls and boys ranges (from age 7 up) is more fashion-orientated, their baby and children's ranges to age 7 tend to be based on traditional styling, with fashionable elements for a contemporary look. Mayoral is renowned for being a great value label with good quality products.

Mayoral Winter 2005/6 stock remaining:
As well as separates, there are pinafore dress sets plus polo-neck jumper and tights sets, in matching stripes. Sizing is more a French fit, so I recommend buying up a size, unless the child is of a particularly slight build.

Mayoral Spring/Summer 2006:
Mayoral for baby and toddler girls, soft jersey dress and hat set, t-shirt and leggings set, with a strawberry print, plus cream linen dress with pink ribbon trim. Lots of t-shirts to choose from, and cute, embroidered clamdiggers in white. Mayoral for bigger girls (2 years to 8 years) have the choice of some lovely, classic cotton sundresses, plus a lovely, soft denim story including jeans, pinafore and skirts with broderie anglais, plus matching blouses and t-shirt. Older girls (8 years to 14 years) can enjoy linen-mix outfits in peachy pinks and creams, including trouser suits, skirts and cropped trousers, plus a halter top, a linen top and embroidered, appliqué­´rimmed t-shirts, short and long-sleeved.
Mayoral for baby and toddler boys includes classic sky blue dungarees, dungaree and t-shirts sets and summer coats. Mayoral for older boys from 2-8 years includes a smart, 2-piece suit in beige or navy, plus more casual ranges with safari and skating themes, including long shorts and Bermudas, shirts, t-shirts and jackets. There are also American football-themed printed long-sleeved t-shirts.

Merry Berries Merry Berries are those gorgeous strawberry shaped hats for babies and toddlers. Knitted in cotton, their signature piece is the classic red strawberry, with green pips and stalk. The range has now grown massively to provide a large selection of colour-ways in white, pinks and blues, mostly with woven designs and some with embellishments such as satin flowers. As well as being really cute, they're also really comfy and practical - being cotton, children don't get hot and bothered, and they're suitable for wear in all but the hottest weather. There are 4 sizes, suitable from birth to approx 2 years (but of course, it all depends on the size of your child's head!). A matching cardigan is also available to order - allow 3 weeks for delivery. Hand-knitted, they are available to match your chosen style of hat.

Pretty Originals

Another label famous for traditional clothes for boys and girls is Pretty Originals. They have a stunning range of traditional, smocked dresses and matching cardigans, often with embroidered details, as well as more fashionable We hold a limited amount of stock, mainly baby shoes for girls. You may review their entire product range via their website www.prettyoriginals.co.uk and we can order on your behalf. Pretty Originals have a great range of baby shoes (we have a limited amount of stock) and older children's shoes and boots, and we are happy to buy to order.

Ruth Lednik

Ruth Lednik is a British designer who started out in craft fairs designing, making and selling reversible clothing direct to the public. She has now expanded, and although some clothes are made at home in Oxfordshire, demand has led her to increase production and out-source much of her manufacturing to a carefully selected company in Eastern Europe, where her sales and marketing partner and husband, Jorge Lednik, hails from. Ruth Lednik was recommended to me by a customer when I first opened Cotswold Kids, and I am thrilled to carry her collection.

Last autumn/winter season, there are reversible duffle coats in tartan one side, red fleece the other, long-line jackets in pink or navy/grey boucle fleece with plain fleece on reverse, blue cord with floral print on reverse, and a funky cream with green leaf design reversible with a cerise pink fleece (looks fab, honestly!). There are matching Ruth Lednik trousers (cord bootlegs for girls, cord straight trousers for boys), frilled skirt, pinafore dress, sweaters to match or contrast with the skirts, trousers and pinafores, fleece sweaters, and matching reversible gilet (waistcoat or bodywarmer), and scarves and reversible hats. All Ruth Lednik fashion is washable, and extremely well made. Sizing is generous, catering from toddlers up to age 8. Sizes are 1-2y, 2-3y, 3-4y, 4-6y, 6-8y.

For summer 2006, I have just Ruth Lednik for girls this season, including two stories, one a floral print aqua crinkle cotton, including dresses, tunics and skirts, and a stunning linen-mix story in raspberry pink with contrast floral details, on jacket, skirts and trousers, plus a lovely summer dress. Quiksilver

One of the most recognised fashion labels for boys, we now have stock from 2years to age 14, and can order age 16 when required. A great surf-brand, the label provides French styling and high-quality fabrics and finish, to give 'the look'. There's a great range of tshirts - long and short-sleeved, loads of hoodies, jackets, trousers, jeans and check shirts and a worn-look polo, all with inset sleeves.

Roxy by Quiksilver

Autumn Winter 2005 was our first full season with Roxy Life by Quiksilver, which includes a fantastic Kelly Jacket in pink and black, which converts from a coat to a gilet (body-warmer or waistcoat) by zipping out the sleeves. There are some fab tshirts and jeans too. The younger girls range 'Teenie Wahine' starts at age 2 to age 8, and has pretty sixties-inspired floral print tshirts and skirts, a great denim pinafore (albeit very skinny fit), and a funky puffa jacket in white or hot pink, with wild floral lining - shower-proof and very cosy!

Roxy in Summer 2006 includes some fabulous pinks and yellows for the Teenie Wahines, and some wilder colours for the bigger Roxy girls. Including a fab back-pack and matching hat. A swimsuit is also available in pink.

Vanilla Park

Designed by two British mums who are passionate about babies' and children's clothes. They have gone to great lengths to ensure that the clothes created are excellent quality, comfortable to wear and great value for money - as well as looking fantastic. Many garments are hand finished and all are individually checked to ensure that they are perfect when they reach you.

To make life simple, they have designed everything in outfits, complete with accessories - buying a complete outfit is one easy decision and the route to perfect co-ordination every time.

For both girls and boys, and available from 3-6 months to 3-4 years, all outfits come on their own wooden hanger, with either a tote bag (girls) or back-pack (boys), and some outfits come with matching hats or bootees.

Lovely, soft fabrics make these outfits comfortable and easy to wear. This range is generously sized and a petite child may need the size smaller than their age. Measurements available on request.

Sarah Louise

There are several labels that cater for traditional tastes in baby and children's clothes, including Sarah Louise, Dani and Noel Bryan. Although there are fashionable elements, these labels are renowned for their timelessness and quality. Sarah Louise always has a range of beautiful smocked dresses, some available as sets with frilly pants, and we also stock the Sarah Louise frilly pants in white, ivory and pink, to match most outfits. Sarah Louise has a fantastic catalogue, and although it is not possible to stock everything at Cotswold Kids (our current Sarah Louise stock is usually on our website), customers are invited to look at the Sarah Louise website www.sarah-louise.com and, subject to availability, we would be happy to order any item for delivery to you usually within one week. Contact the shop direct if you need more information. This applies to the entire Sarah Louise, Dani and Noel Bryan range. As well as the traditional smocked dresses, Sarah Louise always has a fashion range each season, and is famous for its tailored winter coats and party dresses, as well as christening and first-communion wear; there's also a range of bridesmaid dresses and Noel Bryan suits or trousers and blazers, with shirts, ties and waistcoats for boys. Sarah Louise for summer 2006 includes the traditional hand-smocked dresses for babies and toddlers, including crib-sets, with matching hats. Also, there are sweet little cotton rompers for baby boys, with matching hats.

Sarah Louise fashion for girls in Summer 2006 comprises 2 stories:
Lemon floral - including sundress, trousers and tiered skirt, to be teamed with t-shirt or tiered sun-top.
Pink linen floral, including layered, halter-neck sundress, embroidered linen skirt and trousers, and t-shirt and layered tops to match.

Special Occasion wear and party dresses and outfits

Several of the christening outfits supplied by Little Darlings and Collins & Hall are suitable for other occasions, such as weddings, family parties, naming ceremonies etc. Sarah Louise has some beautiful dresses suitable for bridesmaids, ball-gowns or party dresses, and first communion dresses and accessories. Several fashion labels have outfits suitable for special occasions. In particular this season are SULK, Abella, Little Darlings, Floriane, Abella and Sarah Louise, all of which have beautiful girls' outfits and party frocks for special occasions. Sarah Louise also has a gorgeous, sparkly evening poncho, with sequins, in ivory or black, to complement many outfits. For boys, Sting has some smart black or beige trousers, with smart, long-sleeved shirts, and there are smart trousers, shirts, tank-tops and waistcoats from Darcy Brown D'Arcy Brown. Customers can also order Noel Bryan suits, blazers, shirts and trousers from the Sarah Louise catalogue, from 12m to 8yrs. We often have Mayoral chinos in stock, in navy or stone/beige. Summer 2006 3 Pommes have ranges suitable for boys occasions in particular.

Sting<

For boys, we are pleased to offer the British label, Sting, and this autumn winter we have concentrated on smart trousers and shirts, plus some fashion, from 6 months up to age 7. Fashion includes jeans and a fleece-lined denim jacket. Being a British label, Sting clothing is roomier and suitable not only for boys of average build but often for those who are of a sturdier build. This season we also have lots of Sting winter coats, great for school, in navy, grey and khaki green, up to age 7.

SULK

SULK is the grown-up label of Little Darlings, catering for girls up to age 12.

It is much more fashion-led, and definitely for the girl who wants to be noticed. SULK is now a leading tweenage brand giving parents and their children the choice of stylish beautiful clothes which kids like to wear and parents approve of. The success of SULK is undoubtedly attributable to its uncompromising dedication to creative design, quality production and customer service.

For Summer 2006 we have 2 themes:
SULK Cloud Nine: a stunning vision in white, with asymmetric skirt and 50's inspired top, and flapper dress, with appliqué ¡nd sparkly details. Truly beautiful, the Cloud Nine story is perfect for special occasions, for your very stylish girl! SULK Cool Chic: this years key colour - aqua/turquoise, in crinkle cotton, with two styles of skirt - long and floaty or short and layered, plus two tops to choose from: one fitted with cross-over straps on the back, or a floaty, asymmetric top, Cool Chic offers a stylish, striking look that is comfortable and easy to wear. Both SULK Cloud Nine and SULK Cool Chic ranges are available in age 4 to 12 years.

Last autumn/winter 2005/2006 Cotswold Kids had two SULK fashion themes: 'Chocca Mocca' and 'Horsing Around'. Chocca Mocca comprises stylish coffee-coloured, faux-fur trimmed suedette dress, skirt, fully faux-fur lined gilet (waistcoat or body warmer), a great, asymmetric poncho with pom-poms, and hooded coat, with cream sweaters and flared trousers to match. There's also a cute bag, and matching tights. 'Horsing Around' is a stylish theme for your horse-loving daughter, in pink and black, including faux-ponyskin skirt and dress, plus pink accessories including back-pack bag in the shape of a pony, ruched scarf in softest pink velour, plus matching pink tights. We've taken the trouser from the Pen Pal story to match up with the Horsing Around theme, as we felt this was practical and stylish, whilst coordinating well. From the "Doodle" story, we have the faux-fur roll-neck waistcoat, which goes beautifully with the "Horsing Around" theme. The black quilted coat and matching hat, both trimmed with pink faux-fur, fits with both the "Doodle" and "Horsing Around" themes. We also have the Hubba Bubba pink back-pack, which is great fun in hot-pink faux-fur, and the Posh Pooch poodle bag. If you need a stylish raincoat, look no further than the "SULK mac", a great all-year-round raincoat, in white or pale pink, with SULK lettering. The mac is cotton-lined, so it's comfortable as well as practical, and is useful all-year-round. Takkoda art-wear

Takkoda is all about great animal designs on t-shirts. The perfect gift, all t-shirts come packed in a foil pouch with a fun quiz, jokes and a doggie keyring. T-shirts are in soft, quality cotton and are all long-sleeved. Boys styles have ribbed neckline, girls' are trimmed with contrast binding.

Wipette

Wipette is an American rainwear label, and hence generously sized. There's a great black raincoat, fully lined, which is very practical all year round. Plus for the little fireman in your life, a fireman's rain mac, available with matching fireman's wellies. The Wellington boots are available in only two sizes (6+ and 8) and are selling fast.

There are girls raincoats also by Wipette, including a shiny pink number with butterflies and lilac striped lining, and paler pink flower decorated mac. Don't forget the Abella reversible poncho which has a shower-proof side as well as the pink fluffy side.

Coat sizes are from 2y - 8yr.

For Summer 2006 new styles include a Dinosaur and Nautical theme for boys, plus pink with strawberries, or water-melon print, for girls. Matching wellies are available in selected styles, namely the dinosaur and strawberry styles.

All Wipette raincoats are lined: the summer styles have a silky, polyester lining, and winter styles tends to be fleecy and cosier. Hoods are integral.

Sizing Information for Girls

Floriane, Alphabet, Chipie, MDP and 3 Pommes are all French labels, and although many skirts and trousers have adjustable waist-bands, are typically French sizes and therefore generally slim fitting. Mayoral, although Spanish, is also slim-fitting, as is Roxy. If your daughter is a more typical northern European build, please tell us her chest and waist measurement, and we will be happy to advise on suitable styles and sizing.

For girls of average or larger build, you can generally be sure of a generous fit with SULK, Abella, Ruth Lednik, Lego, Vanilla Park, Emile et Rose and Sarah Louise, and other ranges such as Lily Rio and m.ma.me can usually be bought 'on-size', or even sometimes a size smaller if the child is petite. Some ranges have adjustable waist-bands, which allows slimmer children to enjoy these ranges too, including Lego.

Sizing Information for Boys

3 Pommes, Babar and Alphabet are all French labels, and although not as slim-fitting as the girls ranges, many trousers have adjustable waist-bands. Mayoral is also slim-fitting, as is Quiksilver, although the latter has adjustable waist-bands too, which does not preclude boys of a larger build. Generally, I sell the tshirts and jackets up a size. If your son is broad around the middle, please tell us his chest and waist measurement, and we will be happy to advise on suitable styles and sizing.

For boys of average or larger build, you can generally be sure of a more generous fit with Hamilton, Ruth Lednik, Wipette, D'Arcy Brown, Sarah Louise, Noel Bryan, Sting, Coco, m.ma.me, Dani and Lego, which can generally be bought 'on-size', and even sometimes a size smaller if the child is petite. Hamilton's and Lego's waist-bands often have adjustable fixings, or drawstrings, to enable them to fit children of different builds, from the very slim to sturdier build.
